ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent to renew the petitioner's passport.

2. The petitioner's passport has not been renewed by the respondent on the ground that three Charge sheets are filed against the petitioner. Since, Charge sheets are filed against the petitioner, it is settled law that the petitioner will have to approach the concerned criminal court seeking permission to get the passport renewed from the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty for the petitioner to approach the concerned criminal court and seek renewal of his passport.

4. After recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

criminal court in C.C. No.5684 of 2018, C.C. No.5685 of 2018 and C.C. No.9674 of 2021.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
