This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the condition directing the petitioner to deposit Rs.2,50,000/- imposed by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvallur in Crl.M.P.No.529 of 2026 dated 23.02.2026.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner filed the bail application in Cr.No.40 of 2026, on 23.02.2026. The learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvallur, granted bail on condition to deposit a sum of Rs.2,50,000/-. He would further submit that the co-accused had also granted bail on similar condition, which was relaxed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.6581 of 2026 vide order dated 13.03.2026. Hence, he seeks modification of the condition imposed against the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police has no serious objection for allowing this petition.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side and also considering that the condition imposed on the co-accused has already been relaxed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.6581 of 2026 by order dated 13.03.2026, this Court would like to show parity to the petitioner also. Therefore, the bail condition imposed on the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- to the credit of Crime No.40 of 2026 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirvottiyur is relaxed. 2 / 4
