Respondent Prayer : Civil Revision Petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct the District Munsif Court at Kangeyam to dispose the I.A.No.86 of 2022 pending on the file of the District Munsif Court at Kangeyam as expeditiously as possible.

O R D E R

This revision seeks for speedy disposal of I.A.No.1 of 2023 in O.S.No.86 of 2022. Pending the suit, the parties have compromised the matter and they have filed an application in I.A.No.1 of 2023. In the said proceedings, the parties have appeared in order to stand by the compromise, but the learned District Munsif has adjourned the matter. Hence this revision.

2. As the parties want to settle the matter, the learned District Munsif, Kangeyam shall dispose of I.A.No.1 of 2023 under Order XXIII Rule 3 of C.P.C., by 30.06.2024. It is made clear that prior to recording of compromise, the learned District Munsif will ensure appearance of the parties and verify their identity and thereafter, after being satisfied that there is nothing in the compromise which is contrary to law, he shall proceed further and record the same.

3. With the above direction, the civil revision petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 12.04.2024 Index : Yes/No KST To The District Munsif Kangeyam.
