(DELIVERED BY DR.S.VIMALA, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the wife of the detenu seeking a direction to the respondents to produce her husband, namely Ramesh, aged 40 years, before this Court.
2. When the matter came up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the detenu is and Accused No.1 in Cr.No.33 of 2018, on the file of Adiyamankottai Police Station, for the offence under Section 379 IPC; the detenu/accused was remanded and later, he was released on bail by the concerned Court. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.
