O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent-Police to register an FIR, based on the petition enquiry pending in CSR.No.65 of 2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On the complaint dated 23.03.2016, given by the petitioner, petition enquiry was conducted in CSR.No.65 of 2016 and the same was closed on 24.03.2016, based on the statement given by the petitioner.

4. On a reading of the complaint, it essentially appears to be a boundary dispute between the petitioner and his neighbours, and it does not disclose commission of cognizable offence for the respondent-Police to register an FIR, inasmuch as it does even disclose the date of offence. A copy of the closure report along with the statement given by the petitioner is furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.

Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
