ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to take action on the petitioner's representation, dated 26.09.2016 to cancel the fraudulent Patta issued in the name of Vasanthi W/o.Chandran in respect of Survey No.160/2B, Arumbakkam Village. Arcot Taluk, Vellore District.

Heard Mr.R.Vijayaraghaven, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.P.Balathandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and Mr.P.Mani, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

The petitioner submitted an application before the first respondent to cancel the fraudulent patta issued in the name of the second respondent. The first respondent forwarded the same to the Tahsildar, Arcot Taluk, Ranipet District. On receipt of the same, the Tahsildar, Arcot Taluk, Ranipet District, issued summons to the petitioner and the counter parties i.e. the second respondent herein, for the enquiry to be conducted on 07.02.2022 and it is pending. 4.

Considering the above, the Tahsildar, Arcot Taluk, Ranipet District, is directed to complete the enquiry, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the second respondent herein and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
