NO.1352/2013) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to release the petitioner on bail by suspending the sentence appealed against in S.C.No. 348 of 2015 on 04.08.2021 on the file of the I Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, pending disposal of the above appeal and pass such other further orders as this Hon`ble Court may deem fit in the interest of justice. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.K.MALAR VENDHAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.M.BABU MUTHUMEERAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- (Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH,J.) The petitioner herein has been sentenced to imprisonment for life and some of the co-accused have been awarded death sentence and their confirmation proceedings in R.T.No.2 of 2021 is pending on the file of this Court.

Therefore, it will not be appropriate to grant suspension of sentence and bail to the petitioner, as this Court is ready to take up the main case itself for final disposal.
