For Respondents : Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz Addl.Public Prosecutor COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed by the petitioners under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to call for the records relating to the F.I.R. registered in Cr.Nos.674/2011, 45/2014, 7/2012, 46/2014 by the respondent police in so far as it relates to the petitioners in all the criminal original petitions are concerned and quash the same.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court in Crl.O.P.No.8040 of 2018 dated 29.10.2018 in batch cases directed the 1st respondent police to file a final report within a period of three months. Till today, the 1st respondent police have not completed the investigation and filed any final report before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate. Hence, prays for quashing of the FIR.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that they have completed the investigation and charge sheet is also made ready in their file and they are about to file a final report.
4.In the light of the above, this Court is not inclined to quash the FIR registered in Cr.Nos.674/2011, 45/2014, 7/2012, 46/2014. The 1st respondent police is however directed to file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.These criminal original petitions are disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition if any is closed.
