The Civil Revision Petition is filed against the order of attachment dated 03.09.2015 made in E.P.No.160 of 2014 in M.C.O.P.No.395 of 2012 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims

Tribunal (Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-District Sessions Court)

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pending Civil Revision Petition, appeal filed by the petitioner/transport corporation was dismissed. Subsequent to the dismissal of the appeal, the petitioner has deposited entire award amount into the credit of M.C.O.P.No.395 of 2012 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (Chief Judicial Magistrate-cumDistrict Sessions Court) Perambalur. Therefore, nothing survives in the Civil Revision Petition.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. It is open to the respondent/claimant to file a petition before the Tribunal for withdrawal of the award amount. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
