The limited prayer sought for in the present petition is to give permission and police protection to the petitioner to conduct a Cultural Program (Adalum Padalum) Schedule to be held on 29.12.2017 at "Shri Bagavathi Amman Temple" at Door No.53/64, Main Road, Sanarpalayam, Kelampadi, Pasur Post, Erode District - 638 154 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.12.2017.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that in the said matter, the scheduled date of cultural programs has lapsed.
