ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent-police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, upon instructions, submitted that a complaint had been lodged against the petitioner alleging that the jewels pledged by the petitioner were spurious. An inquiry is being conducted in C.No.75/ACP/M/ncp4/26 and the petitioner was called only for that inquiry, and the respondent police are not harassing the petitioner.
3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition stands closed. It is made clear that the respondent-police shall not unnecessarily harass the petitioner. 02.04.2026 NCC : Yes/No SHA 2/4
