ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of Certiorari to call for the records in the impugned attachment and sale notice dated 29.1.2016, issued by the first respondent, and to quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr. D.Baskar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submitted that liberty may be given to the petitioner to file a stay petition before the Appellate Authority in the appeal filed by the petitioner.

3. Mr.Manoharan Sundaram, learned Additional Government Pleader (Taxes) takes notice for the respondents and

submitted that such a liberty can be granted to the petitioner.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, liberty is given to the petitioner to file a stay petition before the Appellate Authority, in the appeal filed by the petitioner , seeking for stay of the impugned notice dated 29.01.2015. The Appellate Authority is directed to consider the same and pass orders, as expeditiously as possible.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
