This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to call for the records pertaining to FIR No.1709/2016 dated 20.10.2016 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the investigation in Cr. No.1709 of 2016 was completed and charge sheet has been filed in C.C. No.175 of 2017 before the Additional Mahila Court, Egmore, Chennai, against the petitioner and that the petitioner has filed Crl.O.P. No.17789 of 2018, challenging the said charge sheet.
