O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction directing the respondents to fix the seniority of the writ petitioner in the cadre of Junior Assistant and grant him promotion to the post of Assistant and Superintendent on par with his juniors.

The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner states that the writ petitioner is now working as Junior Assistant in the Social Welfare Department and some of his juniors were promoted overlooking his seniority. In this regard, he made a representation to the 2nd respondent on 21.03.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

This Court, Without going into the merits of the case, 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 21.03.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, no order as to cost.
