Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's land comprising in S.No.35/2A, Patta No.19, off an extent of Hectare 04.90 Ares, Aatchivilagam Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2018, within a reasonable time framed by this Court.

O R D E R
The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a mandamus, directing the respondents to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's land comprising in S.No.35/2A, Patta No.19, measuring to an extent of Hectare 04.90 Ares at Aatchivilagam Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, by considering her representation dated 04.06.2018.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. According to the petitioner her husband Padmanaba Reddiar approached the second respondent and submitted a representation dated 20.08.1994, to grant electricity connection https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
to his agricultural lands. The representation was acknowledged by the second respondent and a seniority number was also given. In the meanwhile, her husband died on 31.01.1997, thereafter, the property was devolved in her name. Hence, she made a representation to the second respondent to transfer the said application in her name and provide electricity connection to her lands. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2018 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.
5. In the light of the limited scope of the matter and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent concerned to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 04.06.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as all the necessary parties if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
