O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent under Section 11 of the contempt of Court's Act, 1971 for having disobeyed the order in Crl.O.P.No.24763 of 2015 dated 05.01.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.A.S.Jaffur Hussain, Inspector of Police, Harur https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Police Station, Dharmapuri District is present before this

Court.

4. On 06.07.2016, this court passed the following order:- "When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a copy of the closure report has been furnished to the petitioner, which fact, has been admitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Further, it is the grievance of the petitioner that the police have not filed the closure report before the jurisdictional Magistrate, on account of which, the protest application filed by the petitioner is not being taken up for hearing.

3. Two weeks time is granted to the respondent-Police for filing the closure report before the jurisdictional Court.

Post on 20.07.2016 for reporting compliance."

5. The Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the closure report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Harur on 29.07.2016 along with 161 statement of the witnesses.

Recording the same, this Contempt Petition is closed.
