The party-in-person/Mrs.D. Vijayalakshmi made a submission that the Second Appeal filed by her before the State Information Commission has not been taken up for hearing. The petitioner in person raised several difficulties in appearing before the Commission frequently, since she is aged about of 72 years. She expresses her difficulties in appearing frequently for hearing. Therefore, made a submission that a direction is to be issued to dispose of the Second Appeal as expeditiously as possible.
Considering the age of the petitioner and the spirit expressed by her at the age of 72 years, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to take up the Second Appeal No.2592/B/2024 out of turn and dispose of the same within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The direction is issued considering the special circumstances raised by the petitioner in person. Therefore, direction issued in this writ petition need not be followed as a precedent in all such cases, where the Second Appeals are pending. In normal circumstances, the Commission will be in a position to dispose of the Second Appeal in the order of seniority and by following the due process.

With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
