ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrest at the hands of the respondent police on 28.02.2022 for the alleged offences under Sections 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii) (C) of NDPS Act in Crime No. 58 of 2022 seeks bail.

2. The petitioner herein along with other accused are found in illegal possession of 22 kgs of Ganja. It is further alleged that one of the accused is fled from the scene of crime and the respondent has seized 4 kg of ganja from this petitioner.

3. From the investigation, it reveals that the accused persons altogether had purchased ganja from unknown persons for illegal selling.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was arrested on 28.02.2022 and he is about 60 years old and further the petitioner has no bad antecedents. Hence, he may be released on bail.

4. Considering the fact that the ganja recovered from the petitioner is commercial quantity and further one of the accused is still absconding and the investigation is yet to be completed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
