This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 8 days in preferring the instant criminal appeal against the order dated 05.03.2024 passed by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Special Court under the National investigation Agency Act, 2008, Sessions Court for Exclusive Trial of Bomb Blast and POTA Cases, Poonamallee, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.218 of 2024 in Spl.S.C.No.2 of 2023.

2.Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Special Public Prosecutor has no objection for the petition being allowed.

3. This Court is convinced with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the above Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same in usual course.
