This writ petition has been filed seeking for the relief of writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 04.01.2019 given by the petitioner seeking for sanction for prosecuting certain Police Officers. 2.It is seen from the records that the petitioner along with other accused persons was made to face trial in S.C.No.8 of 2011 before the Sessions Court, Udhagamandalam for an offences under the Explosive Substances Act, I.P.C. and TNPPDL Act. The case after detailed trial, ended in acquittal by judgment dated 27.03.2018. According to the petitioner, the concerned police officers had maliciously prosecuted the petitioner and therefore wanted to proceed against them by filing a private complaint and for that purpose had sought for sanction before the respondent by his representation dated 04.01.2019 and since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent.

4.Considering the limited scope of the writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 04.01.2019 made by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law and pass necessary orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This Writ Petition is disposed of.
