The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 498A, 323, 294(b) of I.P.C., 4 and 5 of the Women Harassment Act, in Crime No.not known of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that on the complaint lodged by one C.Sasipriya, the respondent police registered a case in C.S.R. No. 223 of 2020 dated 13.06.2020 and they conducted enquiry and closed the same on 14.06.2020.
