Respondent(s) PRAYER; This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Technical Assistant based on 2022-2023 based on the approved panel issued by the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka. No.C1/ 1337/ 2022 dated 18.07.2022 as on 01.04.2022 in accordance with Tamil Nadu Municipal Corporations Engineering and Water Supply Subordinate Service 1996 followed by G.O. (D) No.516, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department dated 02.09.2023 instead of 2023-2024 panel issued by the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka. No.4242 / C1/ 2023 dated 09.10.2023 with all consequential and other attendant benefits, salary benefits and monetary benefits from the panel year 2022-2023 in consideration of representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28.02.2024 within a time frame to be fixed by this Honourable Court.

ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Technical Assistant based on 2022-2023 and based on the approved panel issued by the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka. No.C1/ 1337/ 2022 dated 18.07.2022 as on 01.04.2022 in accordance with Tamil Nadu Municipal Corporations Engineering and Water Supply Subordinate Service 1996 followed by G.O. (D) No.516, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department dated 02.09.2023 instead of 2023-2024 panel issued by the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka. No.4242 / C1/ 2023 dated 09.10.2023 with all consequential and other attendant benefits, salary benefits and monetary benefits from the panel year 2022-2023 in consideration of representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28.02.2024 within a time frame to be fixed by this Honourable Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the
respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 28.02.2024 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
