Being aggrieved by the award dated 30.03.2022 made in M.C.O.P.No.146 of 2015 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, (Special District Judge) at Villupuram, whereby claim petition filed by the respondent/claimants was allowed and a sum of Rs.16,67,880/-(Rupees Sixteen Lakhs, Sixty Seven Thousand, Eight Hundred and Eighty only) was awarded on account of the death of deceased Ravi @ Ravindran in the Motor Accident which took place on 03.06.2014, present appeal has been filed.

2. Along with the appeal, an application for condonation of delay in paying the deficit Court fees of Rs.25,750/- is filed vide C.M.P.No.9323 of 2024. Delay is of 92 days. The reasons for delay in paying the deficit Court fee are narrated in paragraph Nos.3 & 4 of the support affidavit. 1/3

3.Mr.T.Chandrasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the applicant/appellant submitted that the said delay has occurred only due to the aforementioned reasons and prays for allowing the above civil miscellaneous petition.

4.Having given our anxious consideration to the submission made by the learned counsel for the applicant/appellant, which is also supported by an affidavit of the applicant/appellant we deem it appropriate to allow the above petition to subserve the ends of justice. 5.Accordingly, the above civil miscellaneous petition is allowed.
