These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case based on the complaint lodged by the petitioners dated 01.10.2015 before the respondent and investigate the same according to law.

For Petitioners in all Ops : Mr.Duraikannan For Respondents : Mr.C.Emalias all OPs Additional Public Prosecutor C O M M ON O R D E R These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case based on the complaint lodged by the petitioners dated 01.10.2015 before the respondent and investigate the same according to law.

2. Since the issue involved in these Criminal Original Petitions are one and the same, the Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of by way of Common Order.

3. The petitioners have lodged a complaint against one Ruba and her husband Nageshwara Rao stating that they have induced the petitioners to pay Rs.10,500/- for which they will pay Rs.2700 x 2 and subsequently Rs.5,400/- x 9 and totally they promised that they will pay Rs.54,000/- and they also compelled the petitioners to collect money from different persons and they promised that they will get heavy returns. Believing their words, the petitioners collected Rs.10,500/- from 250 persons and thus the said persons received a total amount of Rs.36,43,800/- from each petitioners. Subsequently, the said persons paid Rs.2700/- for only one month. After that they absconded and the petitioners sold their jewels and settled the amount to other persons. When the petitioners demanded the amount from the said persons, they threatened the petitioner with dire consequences. Hence the petitioners lodged complaints before the respondent. But no action has been taken on the said complaints till date. Hence, they have come forward with the present petitions.

4. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners in the O.Ps. as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that already a case has been registered against John Kribakaran based on the complaint given by one Gobu in Crime No.1011 of 2011 and these petitioners are also the victims of the offence committed by the said accused and the petitioners are added as witnesses in the said crime number.

6. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there is no need to give any directions.

7. Hence, recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, these Criminal Original Petitions are closed.
