ORDER
The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 303(2) and 332(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023, in Crime No.468 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail. 1/4
2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was found in illegal transportation of 1/4 unit of river sand without any valid permit or licence. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that there are four previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. I have given anxious consideration to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. From the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is of the view that the petitioner has criminal antecedents, hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/4
