This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2014, to regularize his service. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondents 1 & 2 that as on the date of filing of the Writ Petition, the petitioner was working under the second respondent/Medical College. However, subsequently the Medical College was taken over by the Government. The Government is not made a party to the proceedings. Hence, it appears that for the same reason, the petitioner has not been heard in this case. 3.It is seen from the records that when the matter was taken up for hearing on 08.11.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner and hence, the matter was directed to be listed today, under the caption ''for dismissal''. Even today, when the matter is called, there is no representation 2/4
for the petitioner. Hence, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the Writ Petition for non-prosecution.
4.Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
