Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.1.2021 by removing the Canteen of Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical college and Hospital, Salem away from Labour and Children ward and Oxygen Godown to save the children from imminent accident of fire to secure the ends of justice. ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The respondents have taken adequate steps to remedy the mischief complained of by the petitioner.

2. An affidavit has been filed by the Dean of the Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College and Hospital in Salem. Such affidavit indicates that the relevant tea shop owners have been required to shift their shops and the offending canteen has also been removed.

3. In view of the said affidavit and the steps taken, nothing survives of W.P.No.11036 of 2021 which is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
