passed by the second respondent in his proceedings in RC No.C2/8159/2021 dated 30.03.2021, set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu Dhinesh s/o.Kupendran, aged 28 years, now confined at Central Prison, Cuddalore, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] The petitioner is the wife of the detenu viz., Dhinesh s/o.Kupendran, aged 28 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in RC No.C2/8159/2021 dated 30.03.2021, holding him to be a "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in RC No.C2/8159/2021 dated 30.03.2021, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.2555, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 09.06.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
