O R D E R

The order impugned dated 18.03.2016, rejecting the claim of the writ petitioner to participate in the process of selection on the ground of over aged, is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2. The petitioner states that she had submitted an application for appointment to the post of Multi Purpose Hospital Worker, under the quota for ex-employee. The petitioner was an employee and therefore, by virtue of her experience, she submitted an application to participate in the process of selection. The said application was rejected on the ground that the petitioner crossed the age limit and therefore she is not eligible to participate in the process of selection. In the absence of any specific relaxation for ex-employees, the petitioner cannot seek any additional preference if otherwise not contemplated in the recruitment notification. As per the recruitment condition, 35 years was the age limit and the petitioner crossed the age of 35 years at the time of submission of application and therefore the said application was rejected. Thus, this Court do not find any infirmity in respect of the order impugned passed by the respondent.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
