PRAYER:

Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorari to call for the records of the 1st respondent relating to the order of the 1st respondent in G.O.(D) No.1353 dated 19.09.2001 in so far as it has confirmed the punishment of stoppage of increment imposed on the petitioner for a period of one year and quash the same.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for issuance of Certiorari calling the records of the 1st respondent in G.O.(D) No.1353 dated 19.09.2001 confirming the punishment of stoppage of increment imposed on the petitioner for a period of one year and to quash the same.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous and seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Writ Petition. 3.In view of the same, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
