This application has been filed to direct the learned Master of this Court to dispose of the above E.P.No.149 of 2017, within a period of two weeks or within a period as stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned counsel for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that an appeal has been filed and pending before this Court.
4. But however, the learned counsel has not shown any material regarding the appeal being filed in the matter. This Court is of the view that the submission made on behalf of the respondents does not carry much conviction with this Court.
5. The submissions of the learned counsel for the respondents are putforth only to drag the proceedings further before this Court in order to scuttle the process of recovery of the dues from the respondents pending before the Master Court.

The present application was necessitated because of the fact that there was an attempt of delaying tactics employed by the respondents before the Master Court and even before this Court, attempts have been made to get adjournments on untenable grounds. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to adjourn the case any further at the instance of the learned counsel for the respondents.
7. Therefore, the learned Master is directed to dispose of the E.P.No.149 of 2017, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned Master is also directed not to give any unnecessary adjournments, if any illegitimate request is made for adjournment on behalf of the defaulting party.
