O R D E R

The petitioner herein, alleging that Siva Kumar, Saravanan, Jeganathan, Vijaya Kumar and others were involved in grave offence of cheating the public money for more than Rs.300 Crores and several cases are against them.

2. The Central Crime Branch, Thiruppur City has registered the case in Cr.No.26 of 2023 dated 18.10.2023 is not properly investigating the case, since there must a change of investigation from Central Crime Branch to Crime Branch Criminal Investigation Department. Similar facts against the same set of accused, this Court has already passed an order in Crl.OP.Nos.23866, 23867 and 23869 of 2023 in Paragraph No.4 which reads as below:

" Considering the gravity of the offence, it is appropriate to direct the concerned District Superintendent of Police, to examine the investigation conducted so far and if not satisfactory, to change the Investigating Officer and monitor the investigation and file the final report within a period of 45 days and take steps to secure all the accused." 2/4

2. The first respondent shall take note of this and conduct investigation appropriately and complete the investigation.

3. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
