JUDGMENT
(Judgment of this Court was delivered by T.RAJA,J.) When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for respondent/Corporation of Chennai submitted that pursuant to the order dated 26.10.2017 passed by the learned Single Judge in the above writ petition directing the respondent to issue notice to the other shop owners, who have encroached the road margin, within 7 days from the date of receipt of the copy of the order, the respondent had issued notice for removing the shop put up by the appellant/writ petitioner and other persons and on receipt of the said notice, the appellant/writ petitioner has removed the shop, where the Corporation has now constructed a new building namely, Sanitary Inspector Office. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.Since it is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent that in the place in question, an Office, namely, Sanitary Inspector Office has been constructed, the writ appeal stands dismissed as nothing further survives to be adjudicated. Consequently, C.M.P. No.1736 of 2018 is closed. No costs.
