O R D E R

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 323, 324, 506(ii) and 307 of IPC, in Crime No.556 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is the case of the prosecution that there is civil dispute pending between the defacto complainant and the family of the petitioner. While so, the petitioner attacked the defacto complainant with wooden log and knife. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he is ready to abide any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that due to the land dispute, the petitioner attacked the defacto complainant with wooden log and knife and caused head injuries. He would further submit that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

there are 7 previous cases pending against the petitioner and he is a habitual offender and he also involved in one murder case. Hence, the learned Public Prosecutor vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. When this Court expressed its view to dismiss the petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition.
