ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the first respondent to restore the name of the Petitioner as owner in the Assessment Tax Records bearing No. 009/007/00185 (Old Assessment No. 6138) in respect of the property situated at Old No. 9, New No. 4, Ranganathpuram, 6th Cross Street, West Tambaram, Chennai - 600 045.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner's claim was considered and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
