This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.12.2016, wherein she has asked for a regular appointment to the post of Cook in Noon meal Centre, Thalaikkadu Higher Secondary School, Thiruthuraipoondi Taluk, Tiruvarur District.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner belong to Schedule Caste community appointed as a sweeper in the year 2009 as per the recommendation of the Parent Teachers Association in the Noon Meal Centre functioning in Higher Secondary School, Thalaikkadu for a meager salary of Rs.300/- per month. her work to the fullest satisfaction of her superiors. Since she has been working continuously, she submitted a representation seeking regular appointment as Cook. Considering her pathetical condition, the President representing the local body and Non-Governmental Organistaion recommended the case of the petitioner for being appointed as Cook in the Noon Meal Centre, for which she has also attended the interview on 21.04.2017 conducted by the Commissioner, Panchayat Union with all necessary certificates. Since the said representation was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.It is not known what has happened to the interview. Therefore, the petitioner cannot come before this Court seeking a mere direction. Without knowing the fact whether anybody has been appointed to the said post, this Court cannot grant direction as sought for by the petitioner and therefore, the writ petition fails and it is dismissed.
