This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.320 of 2024 pending on the file of learned XVI Additional City Civil Court at Chennai.
2. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.
3. It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) that the trial in S.C.No.320 of 2024 pending on the file of learned XVI Additional City Civil Court at Chennai has already been commenced. That apart, the petitioners have not appeared before the Trial Court, resulting in the issuance of a NonBailable Warrant, which is still pending execution.
4. Considering the fact that a Non-Bailable Warrant is pending as against the petitioners and the commencement of trial proceedings, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief at this stage. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
