O R D E R
This revision petition is filed seeking to give suitable direction to Principal Subordinate Judge, Tambaram to dispose of the HMOP No. 800 of 2016 within a stipulated time.
2. The petitioner has filed a petition in HMOP No. 800 of 2016 before the Principal Subordinate Court, Tambaram seeking dissolution of marriage, against the respondent. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, on instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed an application before the court below to receive additional documents and the same is pending.
3. At this stage, this Court cannot pass an order for disposal of the suit within a stipulated time, as requested by the petitioner. However, considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the Principal Subordinate Court, Tambaram is directed to dispose of the aforesaid Interlocutory Application, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the suit to be disposed of, as expeditiously as possible.
4. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
