O R D E R

The above Petition is filed to withdraw and transfer HMOP.No.8 of 2025 pending on the file of Subordinate Judge of the Nilgiris at Coonoor to the Family Court at Puducherry..

2. Reasons for seeking the transfer are as follows:- (i) The petitioner/wife is residing in Puducherry and has filed a petition for restitution of conjugal rights in M.O.P.No.16 of 2025 which is pending on the file of the Family Court at Puducherry. (ii) It would be very difficult for the petitioner/wife to travel all the way from Puducherry to Coonoor to attend the hearing of the case, as the distance between the two places is considerable.

3. Respondent though served through private notice has notice has not entered appearance either in person or through counsel. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records.

4. In the above circumstances the request for transfer appears 2/4

reasonable. Therefore, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and HMOP.No.8 of 2025 pending on the file of the Subordinate Judge of the Nilgiris at Coonoor is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court at Puducherry. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 29.04.2025 (shr) Index : Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No To 1.The Subordinate Judge of the Nilgiris at Coonoor.
