ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2019 for transferring patta in her name with regard to the property in Old Survey No.82 and New Survey NO.82 1C2A admeasuring to an extent of 6.00 ares.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner's father was the owner of the property in Survey No.82 1C2A at Thiruvathur Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District. On 20.05.2019, petitioner's father executed a settlement deed in favour of the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner had filed an application seeking transfer of patta in his name. But, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, and the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2019 is pending with the Tahsildar, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to complete the enquiry and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as other affected parties, if any, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
