O R D E R
Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the time of admission itself, through Video Conferencing. 2.According to the petitioner, he claiming himself to be a member of the Thiruchengode Sengunthar Pavadi Panchayat, made a detailed representation/complaint dated 12.06.2020 to the respondents 1 to 4 requesting to take necessary action against the fifth respondent and others, who were the representatives of the said Pavadi Panchayat, alleging that they have misappropriated the public fund to the tune of Rs.3 crores and they have been illegally collecting rent from the Pavadi Panchayat tenants and the same is pending without any progress. Hence, the petitioner has preferred this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the said representation/complaint and conduct an enquiry within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
3.Heard both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.
4.In view of the limited relief sought for herein, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the respondent authorities are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, fifth respondent as well as any other interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of uploading the copy of this order in the website.
5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
