This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No. 717 of 2016 on the file of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that if four weeks time is granted by this Court, the investigation would be completed and final report would be filed by the respondent before the concerned Court.

4. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complete the investigation within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report in accordance with law, under intimation to the defacto complainant.
