O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to transfer the investigation from second respondent police to CBCID Cuddalore Division to conduct further investigation and to file a proper charge sheet in Crime No.20 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner has filed this petition for the aforesaid relief, during the pendancy of this petition, the Investigating Officer has changed and hence, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to conclude the investigation in Crime No.20 of 2014 within a reasonable time frame and also issue direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police to monitor the investigation.

3.Heard the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate.

4.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court directs the Investigating Officer to complete the investigation in Crime No.20 of 2014, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The concerned Superintendent of Police is directed to monitor and guide the investigation in Crime No.20 of 2014.

5.This criminal original petition is accordingly disposed of.
