COMMON PRAYER: Criminal Original Petitions filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, to complete the trial in C.C.Nos.11158,11157, 11159, 11156, 11155 of 2010 respectively, within a stipulated time.

For Petitioners : Mr.V.Sakkarapani For Respondent : Mr.C.Raghavan Government Advocate (Crl.side) COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed for a direction to the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, to complete the trial in C.C.Nos.11158, 11157, 11159, 11156, 11155 of 2010 respectively, within a stipulated time. 2.The petitioners were arrayed as accused in Crime Nos.1248, 983, 531, 2 and 1089 of 2009 respectively, for the offences punishable under Sections 379, 380, 420 of IPC r/w 34 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

IPC and 411 of IPC. The respondent police completed the investigation and filed a final report before the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai in C.C.Nos.11158, 11157, 11159, 11156, 11155 of 2010 and the case is pending for trial. Under such circumstances, the petitioners have filed these petitions with the aforesaid prayer.

3.On perusal of the adjudication proceedings, it is seen that the case has been posted on several dates and it has been adjourned for the reason 'service pending'.

4.In view of the above, without going into the merits of the case and also considering that the Calendar Case is of the year 2010, the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet is directed to complete the trial proceedings in C.C.Nos.11158, 11157, 11159, 11156, 11155 of 2010 respectively and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, these Criminal Original Petitions stands disposed of.
