Prayer in W.P.No.9217 of 2024: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to issue patta to the petitioner for the property situated at Plot No.46, admeasuring an extent of 170 sq.mt (1830 Sq.ft) in the approved layout vide No.P.P.D/L.O.No.26/2010 comprised in Old Survey No.156(part) as per Patta No.3311 and 3226 in New Survey No.156/2A and 156/1 situated at No.118, Padianallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District. Prayer in W.P.No.9220 of 2024: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to issue patta to the petitioner for the property situated at Plot No.XXII-A, admeasuring an extent of 153 sq.mt (1646 Sq.ft) in the approved 1/4

layout vide No.P.P.D/L.O.No.26/2010 comprised in Old Survey No.8/2 and New Survey No.155/2(part) and Old Survey No.9 and New Survey No.156 (part) as per Patta No.3311, in Survey No.156/2A at Padiyanallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioners submitted applications on 17.06.2023 and 02.09.2023 with a request to sub-divide their property situated at Padianallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District and issue pattas, which are pending without consideration.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for in these writ petitions, the 2/4

second respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioners dated 17.06.2023 and 02.09.2023 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioners' application for sub-division and issuance of patta for their respective property, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
