ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 4(1)(aaa) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act in Crime No.101 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner herein was in alleged possession of 125 pockets of ID arrack (each containing 1 1⁄2 litres) and the seizure has been done in the house of the petitioner and a two-wheeler which was parked in the petitioner's house carrying illicit arrack was found to be without any registration number and the chases number is also manipulated.

3. The First Information Report indicates that the petitioner on seeing the raiding party had fled from the scene of crime.

4. Considering the place of seizure and the other material collected by the respondent police, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
