Prayer:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to take appropriate action on the petitioner's new application dated 26.08.2017 and provide new Electricity Service Connection under "Jeevan Thara Scheme" to my land situated in Survey No.1212/1 of Nagamangalam Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

ORDER
The petitioner seeks for electricity connection for agricultural land situated at Survey No.1212/1 of Nagamangalam Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District through his application dated 26.08.2017.
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that till this date, the respondents have not considered his application and provided service connection.
3. Needless to say that it is for the respondents, more particularly, the third respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law and also as per the terms of the scheme viz., Jeevan Thara Scheme, and communicate the same to the petitioner without loss of further time. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, by directing the third respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 26.08.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law and as per the said scheme and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of a copy of this order. No costs.
