O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the accused to direct the Mahila Court, Tiruvallur to dispose of the case in S.C.No.269 of 2012 at early.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is facing trial for the alleged offence under Section 306 IPC. He further submitted that though the petitioner has been regularly appeared before the trial Court for the past six years, no progress has been made in S.C.No.269 of 2012 and hence, he requests to direct the trial Court to dispose of the aforesaid case at early.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the de facto complainant has filed a petition in Crl.O.P.No.29869 of 2015 before this Court seeking further investigation and hence, no progress has been made in the aforesaid case before the trial Court.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner by way of reply has submitted that Crl.O.P.No.29869 of 2015 was dismissed by this Court even in the year 2015 and even thereafter, no progress has been made by the trial Court.

5.Considering the aforesaid submission, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial in S.C.No.269 of 2012 and dispose of the same within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
