The petitioner, who is the victim/P.W.3 in S.C.No.116 of 2015 on the file of the District and Sessions Court, Krishnagiri has filed this petition under Section 301 r/w. 24(8) Cr.P.C.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the first respondent is the accused in S.C.No.116/2015, who was convicted by the trial Court for the offence under Section 370 I.P.C. r/w. Section 17 of Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act,1976 and 374 I.P.C. r/w. Section 16 of Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976 by judgment dated 09.01.2017, as against which, the accused has preferred an appeal in Crl.A.No.701 of 2017, which is pending before this Court.

3. The petitioner being one of the victims in this case seeks permission of this Court to assist the prosecutor in the prosecution of the above Criminal Appeal.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the first respondent as well the learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent have got no objection in allowing this petition.

5. In view of the above, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. The petitioner is permitted to assist the prosecutor as per law in the above appeal.
