The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2017 and to issue allotment order for the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board Plot No.440, Door No.16/42A, A.L.Mudhali 1st Street, Nehru Nagar, Phase-1, Velacherry, Chennai - 600 042.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2017 to issue allotment order, the 3rd respondent has not issued the same yet.

3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2. Mr.B.Kesavan, learned counsel taking notice for the 3rd respondent submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2017 to issue allotment order and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
